The Arcane Way

I came into the night forest, as if spellbound
Dome of trees and sleeping flowers are around
I am the keeper of this woodland
(I hear a rustle nearby)
And I've already smelled your scent

The cold light of the moon illuminates my way through the wood
I’m running like an arrow through the night to you.

I must be insane or just have a dream
The forest now comes to life and speaks to me
The wind brings voices of creatures and birds

From the dusk the beast’s eyes burn but I'm not scared

The spirits of the forest told me to meet you.

On his back, the big white wolf is carrying me
He follows his own trails through the shrubs
And I know: there is no way back for me.

To a high rocky coast
My beast has rushed me
And I gasped when I looked
Down from the steep cliff
The lake at the foot
Shone with a thousand colors
It called me by my name
And so I made the last step.

Your trails are still warm
In the maze of streets.
Where it stinks to heaven
From the gateways and the souls
The chains of memories will break
But regrets will not be long
After all, these fetters
Just seem to be strong.

The dawn will come and bathe in dew
The bands of grass will be twisted into braids
Larks weave a new finery from the golden rays
And dandelions fluff on sunny glades.

On the shore of a mysterious lake
Young mistress of the wild wood is still asleep
She sees a marvelous dream about another life
She once used to have in the recent foretime.
